This piece is called Cocooned.

Soft fibers wrapped in stillness,
a form held between before and after.

Not yet wings,
no longer what it was.

Suspended against a dried leaf,
the cocoon waits —
quiet, patient, and full of becoming.

Worn as earrings,
it honors transformation not as a moment,
but as a state.
