There are things we wear to be seen, and things we wear because they see something in us.

The old symbols of the serpent were never as simple as good or evil. It could shed its skin, disappear into the grass, guard what was hidden, and return changed. The serpent became a quiet emblem of instinct—the part of us that notices what others overlook.

At the center of this piece, an unblinking gaze rests beneath its coil. Around it, chains, metal forms, stitched leather, and small symbolic fragments gather like objects collected from different lives. Nothing is perfectly symmetrical. Nothing needs to be.
