Creation Story

There are jewels that belong to a person, and jewels that seem to belong to an age.

This piece imagines the kind of adornment that might have rested against the skin of an Egyptian queen — gold catching the light, pale mother-of-pearl opening like fragments of the Nile, and a single gaze held at the center.

The design takes that ancient language of ornament and gives it a personal meaning.

At its heart, your eye is recreated by hand, transforming the gaze of someone you love into the centerpiece of a jewel that feels almost unearthed from another time.
